This state park is located in Albemarle, NC. This is close to the ALCOA (Aluminimum Company of America).

Lake Norman State park is the one that is the closest to Mooresville, NC. This park has around 32000 acres of land with 500 miles of the shoreline. The lake in the park is around 30 acres and is a good place of boating and fishing. The park is a good place for camping and picnicking.
